چکیده

HALFLOOP-24 is a tweakable block cipher that used to protect automatic link establishment messages in high frequency radio, technology commonly by government agencies and industries need highly robust long-distance communications. We present the first public cryptanalysis of show HALFLOOP-24, despite its key size 128 bits, far from providing bit security. More precisely, we give attacks for ciphertext-only, known-plaintext, chosen-plaintext chosen-ciphertext scenarios. In terms their complexities, most them can be considered practical. However, real world, amount available data too low our work. Our strongest attack, boomerang key-recovery, finds round with less than 210 encryption decryption queries. conclusion, strongly advise against using HALFLOOP-24.
